I ran into a problem with my last batch of Peppermint Bark. It was extremely soft coming out of the grocery freezer. I thought it had sat too long waiting to be stocked. After 36 hours in my freezer, it refused to firm up, even though everything else in the freezer was frozen solid. The consistency was somewhere between whipped cream and pudding. I went back to the store to check their stock and the remaining cartons were the same. I emailed HD and haven't heard back. I've checked several stores now and can't find the Peppermint Bark anywhere. I don't know if it's end-of-season or if there was really something wrong with it. There aren't that many substances that won't freeze at 0 degrees F. Most of them you do not want to ingest. While checking another store today, I found the Peppermint Bark on a stick. It's ok. I've never cared for ice cream on a stick. I don't like having my last mouthful taste like a wooden stick, and they're messy to eat. The PB on a stick was not nearly as potent and intoxicating as the original carton.Has anyone else found this problem? I live in Illinois, north of Chicago.
The Haagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark ice cream pint features a creamy white chocolate flavored ice cream blended with chocolate peppermint bark and peppermint candy pieces. The combination of chocolate and peppermint just screams Christmas, and is like an explosion of jolliness all packaged within an unassuming Haagen-Dazs ice cream pint.
Although the flavor is decidedly winter holiday-themed, I would nosh on this ice cream year around if it was available. It is seriously that good. One reviewer on the Haagen-Dazs website commented raving about the peppermint bark flavor in all caps, writing, "THIS FLAVOR IS PURE LOVE." Peppermint plus white chocolate is pure love, indeed. Just like the holiday season itself. I can totally see my kids sneaking a scoop of two out of the pint to enjoy with Christmas cookies, and possibly even trying to talk me into leaving some out for Santa. (Which I will gladly do.)
Spooky season may be in full force right now, but that hasn't stopped Costco from getting a jump start on decking its shelves with winter delicacies like the limited edition Häagen-Dazs peppermint bark ice cream bars, which have been captivating the hearts of foodies since at least 2017 (via Big Muddy Ice Cream Blog).

The wintery ice cream will be available in two options. The ice cream pint features a decadent white chocolate ice cream with a crunchy, chocolaty peppermint bark. Plus, peppermint candy pieces are sprinkled into the mix.
If portion control is not easy, consider the Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark Ice Cream Bar. The 3-count box is similar to the carton, but the white chocolate ice cream is dipped in that chocolate, peppermint goodness. The dark chocolate is speckled with the cool peppermint candy pieces.
Since these wintery treats will only be available through the end of the year, it might be a good idea to purchase extra. Come January, you might still have a peppermint bark craving and you do not want to be left out.
Peppermint Bark, a seasonal flavor from Haagen-Dazs, has a creamy vanilla base with chunks of peppermint bark. Even staffers who generally don't care for peppermint liked this version. It's about $3.99 at many supermarkets.
Ok, back to ice cream. Decided to pick up some Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark for some seasonal flavor. Of course the purple limited edition carton caught my eye, as well as the delectable looking peppermint bark on the cover. Nothing says Christmas more than candy cane strips and chocolate.
